Happy 4 Year Gotcha-Versary to my bestest best friend, partner, heart dog. The most amazing worker. The man who makes me laugh and smile every day, and even cry a little. I don't know how I got to be so lucky to have you watching my back, Aegon, but I did.
You are such an amazing dog. I don't know what my life is going to be like when you retire, let alone when it's time to say goodbye. I try not to think about it. After all, you're such a young dog... but it's always on my mind somehow.
I love you so much.
As much as I love dogs, I hate people who think their untrained, ungroomed, ill behaved dogs should be allowed to go everywhere with them.
Am I the only one who wishes people would worry more about elitism and classism in SD community ( if you could call it a community) then fake service dogs. Sometimes, y'all are just calling out poor, bipoc ppl doing their best to train our service dogs in trainings or homeless ppl with dog or service dogs.
I'm so tired of hearing. you can't do this or that with your service dog because of what ableds will think. I DONT CARE. put that shit in the trash with how much I care if whites think I am a good Black.
I have to retire my current service dog by next year. I am trying to save up for my next prospect. I have a breeder lined up and am on a waitlist, but need help raising the funds for this puppy. Anything helps.
I will be training this dog for my anxiety, panic attacks, depression, sh tendencies, paranoia, agoraphobia, autophobia, cerebral palsy, asthma, and more.
Any amount donated helps me so much. Thank you!

Welcome to Hellmart
The service dog community is in an uproar. Walmart has started selling service dogs vests in their physical stores and the marketing for the product is reckless. Walmart is one of the most dangerous stores you can take a service dog because employees are directly instructed not to interfere with fake service dogs.
Legally in the United States businesses are allowed to ask two questions to dogs coming in:
1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
When employees are instructed not to interfere with ANY animal coming into their stores they are putting real service dogs at risk of being attacked (emotionally traumatized, physically maimed and sometimes killed).
It is advertised as being a “Service Dog Jacket Support Harness” The product description says it comes with two side pocket sleeves to “Display their service registry certificate and tags.” The description also says it’s “Best for physical assistance & emotional support dogs – Also great for dogs with tactical and military experience” It is advertised as a “TRAINING VEST: Animal harnesses and vests are great for training regular, service, and working dogs alike – Designed for service animals but can be used for all dogs and puppies”
If you can’t tell how hazardous this marketing is let me spell it out for you:
Any well-intentioned ethical person would have done enough research to recognize this product is highly faulty, but that type of person isn’t their demographic.
They are marketing towards someone who would walk into Walmart, see this on a shelf and buy it for $24 so they can slap it on their dog (or puppy) and bring them into stores.
And just as a side note, how many legitimate service dogs do they expect are coming through Walmart and buying this harness? It takes 2-3 years on average to train a service dog and program trained dogs cost thousands of dollars. Do they really think each Walmart would have a whole end cap worth of service dogs in its vicinity?
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT PSA, DO NOT SCROLL PAST PLEASE.
Keep your dogs on his/her leash at all times! Just because your dog is friendly DOES NOT MEAN that other people’s are! If you see someone with their dog off it’s leash, remind them of this! Dogs and people can get hurt or killed, and some might get put down due to an unleashed pet!
While I’m on the topic of dogs, remember not to ever pet a service dog without permission! It can distract the animal from performing his/her duties which can prevent the owner from getting the help they need! Some service dogs are trained to detect seizures, heart problems, etc, and some people need dogs to help them see!
Another thing to remember is to NEVER BRING YOUR PET DOG INTO A STORE! This too can distract service animals! Please, please, please! If a restaurant, hotel, store, or any other public place prohibits animals, do not bring them!
Another thing to remember is to always ask a dog’s owner before petting it! As mentioned earlier, not all dogs are friendly, and you can get hurt, which can cause the dog to get euthanized by law!
The last thing to remember is to not scold or punish a dog that doesn’t belong to you! That is the owner’s job! If the owner isn’t doing a good job of that, please inform them! Some dogs might be untrained or be puppies, so they have a tendency to bark and jump!
Assistance Dogs Save Lives Poster 1
You wouldn't distract a paramedic, don't distract assistance dogs
I felt like it would be odd to create a profile just for CATE UK but wanted to share some of the graphics I've created for it
(The gif is just a placeholder until I figure out how the hecks to get the photo of makana's dog out of the gofundme, cause if you don't have photos it's not eye-catching and thats. Very counterintuitive.)
Here are a bunch of important facts about service dogs in the United States! Many people don’t know the real laws about these amazing dogs that help disabled people every day–so please share this far and wide to spread the word.
Remember, all our product sales help support service dog handlers and organizations. We donate 10% of profits and include educational service dog fact cards with all US shipments. I’m also a disabled artist, and the best way to empower disabled people is to financially support them!
💜(Due to health complications, I’ll be shutting down my shop on Dec 31st–so all decks and art prints will only be available until then. After that, I never plan on selling the Barkana deck again btw!) 💜
P.S. These service dog facts are specific to US laws, not worldwide.
This isn’t even just voting it’s fantasizing.
I graduated high school in 99.
There was a student at our school named Wayne.
Wayne was gay. It was obvious. He was unable to stay in the closet even if he wanted to. To make matters worse, he was also Black. From a bullying standpoint, that was not a great combo. Both Black and white students made fun of him relentlessly. He was ostracized from the only community that may have given him protection. Only us theater kids stuck up for him, but not to significant effect.
Wayne was bullied so much that at one point he finally snapped and attacked his bullies with a lunch tray. I was actually seated in perfect line of sight and just sat there chewing my soggy fries in stunned silence. It didn't even seem real as I was witnessing it. The image of him wailing on his main bully as the food on his tray flew off is permanently logged into my long term memory.
The bully he attacked had blood all over his face and went straight to the nurse. Other than superficial cuts, he was not injured.
Before the attack, Wayne went to teachers for help.
He went to guidance counselors for help.
He went to the principals for help.
He did all of the things you were supposed to do. No one helped him. They wagged a finger at the bullies and warned them to stop.
Wayne's lunch tray melee was the only thing that worked. His bullies stayed far away from him. But a week later Wayne was expelled and the bullies were given no punishment.
So... no.
No one in my school talked about being trans.
Because the only way to survive being openly queer was to bash people with a lunch tray.
